How Can I Get Involved?

Are you interested in helping shape improvements to public transportation in the South and North Natomas areas?

Do you have concerns about how public transportation might affect your home neighborhood, or business?

Regional Transit (RT) encourages your input and participation in the DNA Study. By actively participating, you will have the opportunity to help guide the environmental review of the DNA Study, which proposes to bring public transportation improvements to areas of South and North Natomas.

RT wants to ensure that the community is informed and involved in every step of the planning process. Therefore, we have designed numerous ways in which you can participate in the DNA Study and provide essential input regarding Study issues, such as alignment options, environmental concerns, etc.

  • Mailing List

To get on the DNA mailing list, please e-mail DNA@thehoytco.com and provide your name, mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address. By placing your name on the mailing list, you will automatically receive invitations to all DNA public workshops and meetings, as well as receive updated information on the Study's progress.
  • Public Meetings & Workshops

Regional Transit hosted public workshops throughout the Study, which were designed to provide the general public updated information, as well as receive feedback from the public, on the DNA Study. The workshops were held after normal work hours, and were designed as open house, drop-in format, with set presentations and discussion periods.

  • Cable Television

Throughout the course of the study, City Council and RT Board of Directors Meetings discussing the DNA Corridor will be broadcast on Metro Cable (Cable Channel 14).

The scoping meetings will be rebroadcast on Access Sacramento (Cable Channels 73 & 74) with dates to be announced on this website.

  • DNA Information Hotline: (916) 930-1192

Call the information hotline (24 hour access) to receive information on upcoming opportunities for public involvement and/or ask any questions or voice concerns you may have with the DNA Study. A Regional Transit representative will return your call and address your specific requests.

  • Submit Comments: Regional Transit wants your input!

    Complete comment form

Your comments will help RT Staff and Study consultants understand the community's perspective and address community needs.
